  • Argentina's National Electoral Chamber (CNE) created a chatbot where hundreds of thousands of Argentine voters could access reliable information about the country's electoral process during the 2023 national elections.
  • Tribunal Superior Eleitoral - Brazil's National Electoral Court (TSE) built an election bot where voters could access a multitude of electoral services including checking exact voting location, fact-checking electoral information, candidate profiles and more. MetaAi launched in Brazil and re-directed users to TSE's CTWA, resulting in over 1 million users accessing the bot the morning of the election.

Role Overview

Are you passionate about making a difference? Do you thrive in dynamic environments and love the challenge of discovering new opportunities? We're looking for a Junior Account Executive to join our growing organisation.

The Junior Account Executive will play a pivotal role in our sales process by identifying and generating new business opportunities. This role focuses on the entire sales cycle; from prospecting, engaging, and qualifying leads according to our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), to closing deals. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter who flourishes on generating new business and has a passion for technology, SaaS and making a difference. The trajectory for this role would be to grow into a regional account executive role based on strong performance. This role will report to the Head of Brazil.

Key Responsibilities

The nature of a startup often dictates that roles often cover more ground than the job specification suggests, however the key responsibilities and performance indicators for the Junior Account Executive role are listed below:

Primary KPI 

  1. Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR): Achieve or exceed monthly MRR targets as defined by the sales plan, assessed on a quarterly basis.

Monitoring KPIs 

  1. Pipeline Generation: Build and maintain a sales pipeline that is 3–4x the monthly target value.
  2. Sales Cycle Length: Target an average sales cycle stays under 90 days.
  3. Activity Metrics: Consistently achieve weekly activity targets, such as:
    • Outreach: Prospecting activities (emails, calls, or LinkedIn outreach), general guideline being a minimum of 30-50 outreach activities per week.
    • Meetings: Conduct 8-10 discovery or demo meetings per week.
  4. Customer Onboarding: Ensure the Customer is onboarded in a timely manner and most efficiently and ensure that their subscription is set up soonest. Your win is only recorded once they have made payment on their first invoice.
  5. CRM Hygiene: Ensure 100% accuracy of data in CRM, with all leads, opportunities, and updates logged in real time. 

What We're Looking For

  • Min. 3-5 years experience in sales, lead generation, or a related field, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Strong communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills. Ability to build rapport quickly and maintain relationships.
  • Proficiency in using CRM and Sales engagement software (e.g., HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator). 
  • Ability to conduct detailed research on prospects and industries.
  • Driven by targets and results, with a strong desire to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Fluency in Portuguese & English is a hard requirement. Business proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
  • Experience in the Healthcare, Education, & Fintech industry will be a BIG plus.
  • Candidates should be based in Brazil.
